Mindfulness is a practice in becoming present.

Many of us tend to get lost in thought throughout our day and this can contribute to feeling disconnected, anxious, and depressed.

Practicing a simple technique, such as meditation and mindfulness, will increase your awareness of those times when you are no longer present, giving you the ability to bring your attention back to the here and now. 

Practiced for thousands of years, across many cultures, this simple practice can have profound effects on our lives, and encourage feeling connected to people, alive and part of the environment.

These days science is validating the effects of mindfulness practice, and these include:

  • Reduced anxiety

  • Reduced stress and increased coping
